/ shopping!
Went out with Wei Qian, Shu Xian and Hui Ying today. The four of us again! Had tremendous fun. Laughed and laughed and laughed. Oh, and laughed till I choked. Next time, don’t make me laugh when I’m drinking! Hui Ying’s super funny and gl. Blah! Love them loads! (: (: (: Super happy today, many many funny things that happened too. Wahaha. We must go out more! Too bad Hui Ying’s starting school soon. A teeny weeny sad, but I’ll still laugh at her. So mean of me! Must get used to it. Lol. Anyway, I bought three tops today! And spent less than Wei Qian! Lalala. I didn’t manage to get the cardigan I wanted, cause… it’s no longer available! SUPER SAD. ): ): ): I should have bought it there and then. Hmpft. Kind of disappointed because I really liked it. ): I want a new bag! And shoes/slippers/heels/sandals, whichever’s nicer. d: And cardigans!!! Or jackets! I absolutely heart jackets and cardigans. The me who feels the coldness very easily. Blahhh!
Thanks to those who cared, I’m okay already. 看开了. Wish me luck for the next semester. I’m going to need it. Alright, I’m going to do up my new timetable nicely. Business Statistics is such a spoiler, but I deserved it. ):
*EDITTED* I don’t have Written Communications!! How come?!?!?!?! Damn everything. ): ): ): I’d rather take eight modules!! Ahhhhh! Must call the school le lah! Aiyoh.. How can like that? How can how can? Blahhh. TSK. Then like that I’ll graduate a semester later already! ): ): ): *cries*
/ crying ; tears
Crying is a good way to vent frustrations, to get rid of the unhappiness built up in your tiny heart, even if it’s just for a while. Crying to sleep is possibly one of the best ways to get to sleep. It’s better than having the feeling that you want to actually murder someone, I guess. Recently nothing much seems to be going on well. I should look at the other stuff which are smooth-sailing but I can’t. I feel so useless, so alone, so full of tears. I don’t want to cry, because I’m not ready to show my frustrations, perhaps. I deserved all this, perhaps. SIGH.
/ study mamas
The influx of China study mamas to Singapore has been an issue discussed a time too many, yet the issue remains. I don’t like them, they spoil the market for people looking for jobs, especially part-timers, with their $1000-a-month pay with only two off-days, once every fortnight, employers definitely prefer them to the students, especially when students are only able to commit short hours, when school resumes for them, whereas these study mamas are willing and able to work up to twelve-hours shift, if needed to. They’re definitely hated by many, I know. I don’t like them. Oh, did I already mention that? They’re a nuisance! Since they’re here as study mamas, shouldn’t they be accompanying their children, looking after them and even if they don’t know, watch them study and perhaps learn in the process? Oh, not the matter about not having enough money or being conned. Since they decided that they want to let their children study in Singapore, a country where the cost of living isn’t low, shouldn’t they come prepared? Like, with at least one year’s expenses? Meanwhile, their families continue to work hard to support them. They shouldn’t be allowed to work! Not even as those occupations which are slightly more shady. Definitely not those part-time jobs which students like to take up during their school holidays. Alright, bias tone detected, I’m a student, for goodness sake, I’m allowed to whine and complain about them, since they’re not beneficial to me in any way. Did I hear someone say foreign talent? *laughs my ass off*
/ death
Yup, so Steve Irwin died. In the course of work too. Australia has offered to give him a national burial. Okay, so his shows are quite interesting, his death a rather shocking event, killed by what he loves – nature. I just don’t see the point why everyone’s pretending that they care a lot about his death. Call me desensitised, but I won’t change my mindset. Like, yes, we all know he’s dead, and a rather brutal death too, being stabbed through his heart by a stingray, him even removing the ‘murder weapon’ out before he bled to death. Read from the papers that his death could be avoided, should he not insist on taking some shots of the beautiful corals and fishes he promised his daughter. Father’s duty, father’s responsibilty, resulted in his death. It depends on the view point, I suppose.
Anyway this is not my problem, just another piece of news, so I shan’t even bother pretending that I care, I suppose. He died. Full-stop. End of story, next. Perhaps death shouldn’t be taken so lightly, but think about it. The moment we’re born, we’re waiting for our death. It happens, what can you say?
